In 2025, Harley-Davidson launched one of its most ambitious challenges yet—one that would test the skills and endurance of riders, while celebrating military members, veterans, and first responders who sacrifice so much to protect and serve our communities.

Running from March 28 to October 31, the Let’s Ride Challenge® Ride for Heroes attracted more than 29,000 participants across the country, with each turn of the wheel bringing the contest closer to breaking the 50 million-mile target, activating a $1 million donation by the Motor Company to organizations that support those heroes.

The contest was open to those in the U.S. with a Harley-Davidson VIN, and while Harley Owners Group® membership wasn’t a requirement, members had the opportunity to earn exclusive rewards with each mile they rode, including a $5,000 bonus if they won one of the five new 2025 Harley-Davidson motorcycles. In the end, all five category winners were H.O.G. members—a testament to the dedication and commitment of our members.

The average participant logged 3,500 miles, but more than 2,300 participants logged more than 10,000 miles, ultimately contributing to exceeding the 50 million-mile target by over 30 million miles.

The organizations supported by the challenge were 1 Soldier 1 Dog 1 Team, American Legion Riders, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association®, Hanks for Our Troops, Motorcycle Missions, National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club™, Rolling Thunder®, Wounded Warrior Project®, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The Harley-Davidson community has a long-standing tradition of stepping up to support those who protect our safety and freedom. The 2025 Let’s Ride Challenge Ride for Heroes brought together fun and purpose, and the response from riders was overwhelmingly positive. With great pride, Harley-Davidson is making this donation to these deserving organizations on behalf of everyone who participated in the ride.
